He said "he wants to die before Mum"

You would have thought he's being nice and considerate to say that. But here is his reason:

He said "if mum goes first, who will cook for me since I do not eat any food prepared elsewhere.

Same birthday, same surname!

Dad and Mum: Same birthday, same surname!

Today is dad and mum’s birthday.

Born not just on the same day, 5th day of the 5th Month, but they both share the same surname. All just share coincidence!

Dad turns 87 while mum turns 81! I think we are all proud of them and are so grateful that we can still chat with them and even visit them whenever we want.

As I often do, today I made a call home to wish them a happy birthday.

This is what dad had to say.

“Well… this year you came 5th”. Talking about who and who had called to wish them well. He went on to mention the names of my siblings who had called earlier than I did. “Anyway, he concluded, “you don’t always have to be the first to call us every year”. Hihihi! Dad is very funny!

I’m so grateful for this great opportunity to talk to them and crack jokes with them with more than 10000 kilometers between us! God is gracious!
